"Got some Potential"

Well, you've got humor, no denying that. I love some of the look and feel to the world as in the wizard's staff has a hand pointing and a foot, that being my favorite thing with the entire animation. Right now, it's a little bleak but that is good so you can surprise us in the future with plot twists and whatnot. The music was fine and most of the voice work I commend you for. I also really liked the beginning joke of the evil adviser's to show that this is a parody of the usual "Hero Saves All" story line. Then the Irishman's was hysterical, hooray Irish stereotypes.

The downside to the entire piece is the animating in general. I'm a sucker for frame by frame animation so I was not impressed with it, it's a good thing the story was kept short and humorous because I would have stopped watching. Some of the voicework was a tad bland, I can't really say that because I'm pretty lousy in the department myself, but it sounded like you were afraid of raising your voice for several characters. Then it was pretty predictable with what would happen in several instances such as coming to the choosing wearing a dress and the wizard saving the day but then again, it is a parody of Chosen One stories. I do want to see more so keep working. Hoping to see episode 2 in the future.

I gotta say, you really brightened my day with this flash from its cleverly written song by Mr. Floss (you rock) and your animation had really made the song come to life. Everything about this kept my attention which is hard nowadays because of the same cut and crap humor.

I want to see more animations from you, MOAH! After spotting this gem, I watched some of your other flashes and viewed your art and blog and you have some raw talent. Speaking of which, I loved the way you had created Mario into your own style of art and it looked great. I gotta say your Bowser was my favorite rendition in your style with Peach and Mario not too far behind. Please do more animations in the near future.

Alright, a sequel... First off, Ego your animation has gotten very very good from when you began the Awesome Series. Watching Girlchan is spot on with the horrendous voice acting of anime's mainly in the early 90's but still exists, mainly 4kids. Anyway I loved the "bad" writing to show off the absolute confusion of every episode you watch of an anime series that sometimes never even finishes up a problem from a previous episode then throws the characters into a random situation that ends by awful translated dialogue. I laughed my ass off watching almost every second, but almost...

It got a little too long for me and I started to get pretty bored towards the end until the epic fight with the "Artist". The voice acting was exactly like usual dubbing with both lack luster VO's and obnoxious VO's. So to you two, Ego and Tomar, I say good job and all that jazz. Waiting for the 3 episode.

Everything you did was right. The music was so well composed, the voices were very entertaining and lively, animation was smoothly done, the characters designs were so unique and the story was very creative. I loved it from beginning to end, a fantastic example of hard and determined work that the site lacks. There isn't anything else I can really say, I found nothing wrong.

"Lol Frog"

Disgustingly adorable especially the frog. I just remember playing OoT and wanting to catch Navi in my hands and squish her because she'd drive me insane. "HEY" "LOOK" "LISTEN" "DENTAL PLAN"! I'd have to turn my game off from her wanting me to look at every sign, every person, pretty much every object in front of me. The animation was okay, Link from the side looked a little ridiculous because of his melon sized noseless dome but his facial features made up for it especially at the end. It was very good you kept this short because people here have a habit of running jokes into the ground and beating it senselessly.

So to you I say, good job, keep working.

"Should be a comic and not an animation"

The Good: I love your style of art, it's very detailed with the lighting and facial expressions and you take yourself very seriously when you do draw. The story is entertaining and you make sure to keep the speech bubbles up for a little bit because of slow readers like myself.

The Bad: It seems like you copy and pasted the drawings of the characters into the flash scene because there is this nasty looking white pixel boarder around them, especially Lacorse when he first appears and it takes away that detail you put into this. I sort of feel like you shouldn't animate this, but make it a comic, that way you can put up a lot of pages faster than doing all the flash stuff. Then with adding to that, this animation was very short, I felt like it should have kept going for a little bit longer. Then you recycled pages and that really annoyed me. Try using a different face on the characters to show their expressions to each comment or seeing them from a different angle would have been really good and shown some more of your artistic abilities.

Good job but it's not great. Keep working dude.

"Alright... Here is just for Writing...."

Alright, as you said to me, you wanted me to look at this as just writing.... Now I am a comedic writer also so I take comedic writing completely serious. You said this got better down the line but that's not the case here, it actually went downhill as soon as part 2 started. This is just beginners stuff and needs serious improvements. Every joke you used was just pure potty humor and it gets reeaaaaly old. And the constant random people running up to characters talking shouting "Shut the fuck up" every thirty seconds made this look like you couldn't come up with anything really funny so you filled it up with overused and unoriginal fuck you's and dick jokes. Yes some of the situations I can relate with but that's not all you need If you really want to be taken seriously as a writer, you gotta come up with better humor, not more "Fuck you limp dick" insults then turn the cartoon into half a porno. That'll attract an 11 year old on this site, but not a TV/Film producer. Take for example such great writers like Carl Reiner who never swore and look at him now. Reiner is one of the greatest comedians to ever live and was awarded the Mark Twain Award for Humor. Constant swearing doesn't make your work funny, it actually dumbs it down.

You didn't really come up with anything original, we've all seen this kind of stuff. The premature kids having sex, jealous friends, being mistaken for gay after a friend wants revenge, it's all been done before. You really gotta come up with stuff that will really make your writing pop out and set itself from other material but right now it's just a combination of other shows cut and pasted into a big pile and it's presented badly.

Work hard and in time you will have something truly great that people will remember you by in the real world. Good Luck.

"Good and Bad..."

Lets start with the good. You've got some good humor. The weird teacher was great, but I wish there was a little more of him. There were a couple voices you had that were phenomenal, I believe it was the voice of the lady on the bus.

The bad... A lot of the humor just seemed to be constant insults that got old pretty quickly. Then a lot of the humor just seemed to be absolutely random like the weird guy on the bus and although random humor gets chuckles, I couldn't even cough up a pity laugh for some of it. The animation was pretty lousy, very choppy and some scenes would freeze, not to mention the constant lagging as well. Most of the voice acting was bad and barely audible so I had to boost my volume to max to hear it.

Keep working though and you'll have a good flash in the future.

This is why I love your work, you set yourself apart with a lot of your work because it's clean and most of the cartoons you see here either swear until it gets boring or there's constant cock jokes. The animation was great and this really reminded me of the old Goofy cartoons. The voicing was great, too bad Jacquo didn't speak that much but it was still him doing his antics. Hoping to see more Shamoozal in the future.
